Juvenile Justice Clinic openings available

The Juvenile Justice Clinic still has openings for the Spring 2013 semester. Students represent juveniles accused of crimes in the Winnebago County Juvenile Court. Typical crimes that are charged include Aggravated Battery, Battery, Theft, Retail Theft, Burglary, Damage to Property, Disorderly Conduct, Mob Action and Probation Violation. The Juvenile Justice Clinic is four credits and located at the Zeke Giorgi Legal Clinic in Rockford. Common hearings include arraignments and detention hearings, as well as motion hearings.
