Scholarship and Writing Contest Deadlines for This Week

The National Law Review is hosting its February 2014 Law Student Writing Contest, with the winning article to be published on the National Law Review’s website, on the National Law Forum blog and in the October newsletter. The suggested topic this year is Labor and Employment Law, although entries covering other current issues will also be considered. Articles should be submitted by no later than February 17, 2014 to lawschools@natlawreview.com.

Bert W. Levit Essay Contest
Areas of Interest: Legal Malpractice Law, Professional Liability Insurance, and Loss Prevention.
Criteria: Essay on expanding use of social media by attorneys and law firms and focusing on the legal, ethical and professionalism issues that can arise in those forums.
Award: $5,000 and expense paid trip to National Legal Malpractice Conference.
Deadline: February 21, 2014
