First Assignments for Torts, Section 1 w/ Prof. Boudreau

For the first Torts class on Monday, August 17, please read pages 1 - 8 in our casebook, Robertson, et al., Cases and Materials on Torts (4th ed. 2011). Also, please read ONLY the first paragraph of the Ghassemieh v. Schafer case on page 9 (everything up to the * * * a third of the way down the page.) Be prepared to discuss the reading in the first class. I will cold call on people in class.

You must register with Top Hat BEFORE the first class on Monday. You only need to purchase one Top Hat license for all classes during the time your license is valid, but you will need to register for each class separately in Top Hat. You can also register by visiting our course website will be using the Top Hat ( classroom on your phones only.

You can visit for the Student Quick Start Guide which outlines how you will register for a Top Hat account, as well as providing a brief overview to get you up and running on the system.

Top Hat will require a paid subscription, and the standard pricing for the cheapest option is $24 for 4-months of unlimited access.
