Diversity Dialogues Featuring Dean Cordes and Professor King

NIU will host the first in a series of Diversity Dialogues, called "The First Amendment, Free Speech and Lawful Assembly," on Wednesday, March 23 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Sandburg Auditorium in Holmes Student Center. This community conversation is free and open to the public.

Senior Research Scholar in law at Yale Law School Frederick M. Lawrence will help kick off this new series that will provide a space for members of the university community to talk openly and honestly on complex and important matters. Dean Mark Cordes will join Lawrence on the panel for discussion along with students Ariel Owens and Timothy Brandner. Professor Yolanda King will serve as moderator.
