PES Guest Speaker on Professional Conduct Wednesday, April 5th

Lunch will be provided, as the Professionalism and Ethics Society hosts this year’s speaker on “Real Life Implications in Applying the Rules of Professional Conduct" on Wednesday, April 5th at noon in the Riley Courtroom.

Our speaker is Northern Law alumnus and attorney Adam Vaught, partner at Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP, Chicago. His practice area focuses on Attorney Registration & Disciplinary Commission (ARDC) complaints.

Vaught will be discussing some real life implications involved with the compliance and application of the Rules of Professional Conduct including the associated financial and business implications.

Vaught graduated in 2005 and subsequently served as counselor to Chief Justice Thomas L. Kilbride of the Illinois Supreme Court, whom he clerked for prior to the justice’s term as chief. He then joined Hinshaw & Culbertson where he now focuses on the area of professional liability defense, with emphasis in the counseling and defense of attorneys and law firms facing malpractice and ethical conduct issues.
