American Constitution Society for Law and Policy Writing Competition
Description: The American Constitution Society (ACS) and the University of Pennsylvania Law School ACS Chapter host an annual national student writing competition in honor of Constance Baker Motley's legacy. As a civil rights attorney, first woman elected President of the Borough of Manhattan, and the first African-American woman appointed to the federal bench. Motley’s life-long commitment to equality for all aligns with ACS's mission to ensure that law is a force to improve the lives of all people.
Award: 1st place- $3,000 and an offer of publication in the University of Pennsylvania Journal of Constitutional Law; Runner Up (2)- $1,000

Animal Law Writing Contest
Description: The American Veterinary Medical Association, American Kennel Club, Cat Fanciers; Association and Animal Health Institute offer law students an opportunity to engage in a scholarly discussion and debate of legal issues related to animals and animal law.
Requirements: Write an essay on two of the given prompts found on the AVMA website
Award: 1st place- $2,500 cash prize (plus round-trip airfare, one-night accommodation and ground transportation) to attend the American Veterinary Medical Law Association's Annual Meeting in Boston, Massachusetts in July 2016 and a complimentary registration to the 2016 Annual Meeting; 2nd place- $1,000 cash prize

Stanfield & D’Orlando Scholarship
Description: The Stanfield Scholarships Program is funded by a trust created by Mrs. Marion Barr Stanfield for Unitarian Universalists studying the fields of art and law. Mrs. Stanfield stated that the Stanfield Scholarship committee should take into consideration, "Not only the intellectual attainments and potentialities of the beneficiaries but that they consider whether in character and constructive spiritual philosophy the beneficiaries are most likely to use their legal training and their training in art for the betterment of humankind."

The City Intern Student Ambassador Program
Description: Designed to give students and graduates the opportunity to earn a full scholarship for the Global Internship Program, amongst other incentives, the City Internship Student Ambassador applicants can learn more on the website. The competitions are split across the four following themes: Demystifying the stock market; show us your school spirit (Produce a video showcasing campus life); Unleash your inner entrepreneur (Craft a winning business idea); Build your own online portfolio (Develop merchandise and digital designs).
